Once again a Ripon Cadet achieved suucess at the RAFA Yorkshire Regiment Junior Standard Bearers Competition held in Batley.
Cadet J.M. Coates took on the competition in a demanding test of standard-bearing skills as a panel of judges assessed his performance following 21 different orders. A uniform inspection then followed before Cadet Coates learned that he had come a close second and was presented with the silver trophy.
